Job Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for HopSol Africa

Brief overview of the Company
HopSol Solar Power is an Engineering Procurement and Construction and Operation and Maintenance subsidiary of Alpha Namibia Industries Renewable Energy Power Ltd (ANIREP Limited) and provides turn key solutions for designing, building, operating and maintaining photovoltaic solar power plants. HopSol is a technology leader for on-and off-grid solar power plants, fuel save controllers, storage solutions as well as solar diesel hybrid systems.

Purpose of Position
The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the development of long-term strategic objectives, business plans and governance policies. The CEO is responsible for the financial management, business development, project conceptualization, liaison with government authorities, securing approvals and manage and execute power purchase agreements and all other legal obligations of the company.

Education and years of Experience
• An Honors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering or related energy or technical field
• An MBA with a specialization financial management
• At least 12 years – experience in the energy sector and particularly in the Solar and Renewable Energy sector, with a minimum of five years of Senior leadership experience at a large utility or energy provider.
