NamPower has inaugurated its first fully owned and operated renewable energy plant, the Omburu 20 MW PV Power Station. The power station located on the outskirts of Omaruru, was constructed by HopSol Africa, a unit of Alpha Namibia Industries Renewable Power Limited and is expected to have capacity to power around 18,500 homes. ANIREP gets NSX Main Board nod

Anirep buys into HopSol
LISTED investment company Alpha Namibia Industries Renewable Power Limited (Anirep), has bought up 80% of HopSol Africa (Pty) Ltd for N$56 million.
