SUSTAINABILITY MEETS FLAWLESS DELIVERY
When speaking about sustainability, we are ultimately speaking about nature. Diamonds are nature’s most perfectly created objects—rare and incredibly strong— which is why we prize them so much. This theme uses geometric design elements and prism-like fractals in the photography to capture that sense of flawless execution present in a high-quality diamond. It takes a lot of heat and pressure to make a flawless diamond, and ANIREP is ready to meet those same challenges head-on.

To harness the abundant natural resources for renewable energy in pursuit of the realization of the United Nations Sustainable Development (i.e. Goal Number 7 – whose key outcomes are affordable and clean energy).
In line with the Namibian government’s goals, as Namibia is the first African nation to incorporate environmental protection in its constitution

The Present
ANIREP is now included in the FTSE NSX Index Series, from December 2020, as the only Alternative Electricity Utility entity on the main board. This is underpinned by the high quality cash yielding 10.73MWp solar PV IPP with 25 year power purchase agreements and a solid performance from Hopsol Africa, the largest EPC and O&M contractor in Namibia.

The Future
ANIREP is gearing to play a major role in increasing the commercial installed renewable energy generation in Namibia from the current 150MW to 760MW by 2025. Our next step is to raise equity of about N$1,2 billion in the short to medium-term, as we develop and acquire more renewable energy generation, to increase our market share of renewable energy generation in the country, from 7% @ Feb 2021 (up from 0% in 2020) to our target of 30% of the forecasted 760MW by 2025.
