ANIREP plans N$564m rights issue to fund expansion

ANIREP secures new N$300m solar plant deal
Alpha Namibia Industries Renewable Power Limited (ANIREP) has secured a new contract to construct and operate a 18.5 megawatt (MW) solar plant to be located at Kokerboom in Keetmanshoop. The implementation costs of the project is estimated at N$300 million, with Dundee Precious Metals Tsumeb the off taker.
DBN’s renewable energy funding tops N$1.2 billion
The Development Bank of Namibia (DBN) has to date funded renewable projects in the country valued at N$1.231 billion. This comes as the development bank provided N$193 million to Anirep Aussenkjerr Solar One to finance the construction of the 20MW Khan solar plant.
